Saudi King meets UN Chief Antonio Guterres

Riyadh, GDN Online Desk, April 17, 2018 – Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at Al-Yamamah palace the Secretary-General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres.

Guterres expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the Kingdom's humanitarian contributions in the world, and for its great support and funding for the humanitarian response plan in Yemen.

The role of the United Nations with its various organizations and agencies was also reviewed to support all efforts aimed at international stability and security.

The meeting was attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior; Minister of State and Cabinet's Member Dr. Musa'ed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir and the Kingdom's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Abdullah bin Yahiya Al-Mo'ellemi.
